Vounteer service at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital may be just the ticket to help you fulfill your desire to be of service to others and your community.

Hospital volunteering comes in many forms and, both in support of clinical services to patients as well as non-clinical services, such as information desk, gift shop or snack bar duties.  Some volunteers love the direct contact with patients at their bedside; while others love the interaction with people across the snack bar or gift shop counter.  Some volunteers prefer doing clerical support functions and are much appreciated in various hospital departments. 

So there are a variety of tasks for a variety of people who want to make a difference in the local hospital.
